B

Telephone

Call the patient's chosen hospital, as below, to arrange an urgent or routine appointment:

Frequently asked questions

Clinician FAQs

Routine appointments are typically available within a few days of referral. For urgent clinical situations, please contact us directly by telephone — we will do our best to accommodate same-day or next-day imaging where clinically needed.
Please include: patient name and date of birth, contact telephone number, the type of scan required, a brief clinical history and the specific clinical question you need answered, relevant previous investigations, current medications (particularly metformin or anticoagulants for CT with contrast), and your contact details for report delivery. The more clinical detail you provide, the better we can tailor the imaging protocol and reporting to your clinical needs.
Reports are delivered by secure email to the address specified in your referral. We can also copy reports to the patient directly, if you indicate this in your referral. For urgent findings, we will call you directly as well as sending the written report.
Yes. For oncological staging and key subspecialty investigations (e.g. mpMRI prostate, MRI endometriosis, CT colonography), we use structured, proforma-based reporting in line with current RCR and ESUR guidelines. Reports include PI-RADS scoring for prostate MRI, PIRADS 2.1 compliant language, and relevant classification systems where applicable.
We follow Royal College of Radiologists and ESUR contrast guidelines. All patients receiving iodinated or gadolinium contrast are screened for allergy history, renal function (eGFR) and relevant medications. For patients with eGFR <30, we will contact you to discuss whether contrast is appropriate. Please flag any known contrast reactions or significant renal impairment in your referral.
